Laurence behaalde haar master animatiefilm in 2015. Haar afstudeerfilm ‘Prey’ werd internationaal opgepikt in het festivalcircuit en werd geselecteerd door 14 filmfestivals. Op Kisakes Short Film Festival (Turkije) werd haar film bekroond met de award voor ‘Best animation short’. Eerder was ze al aanwezig op tentoonstellingen met haar interactieve video-installatie ‘Dilemma’ (samenwerking met Lieven Casters) en conceptueel project ‘Foodture’. In 2015 behoorde ze tot de laureaten van TWENS, een fototentoonstelling met focus op jong internationaal talent. Kenmerkend voor haar werk is een kritische maatschappelijke blik en ook wel een vleugje sarcasme.

At Kisakes Short Film Festival (Turkey) her film was given the award for ‘Best Animation Short’. Prior, Laurence presented her interactive video installation ‘Dilemma’ (collaboration with Lieven Casters) and her conceptual project ‘Foodture’. In 2015 she was one of the laureates of TWENS, an exhibition of photography focusing on international young talent. Laurence describes her work as socially critical with a touch of sarcasm.
